Patience grasshopper. Ignore the hype designed to stir excitement and just enjoy the story as it unfolds.

I'm with you, spaceage, I'd rather see a good story than have something all wrapped up neatly in 1 hour blocks. However, I think that they did drop the ball a bit last week. Something was off -- saving the cheerleader should have been exciting and somehow momentous, and it wasn't. I'm considering it an off-week in an otherwise great series.

I got 3 years invested in LOST, so my patience is running thin. I take it out on other networks new programming.

I was disappointed last week as well. I was hoping because they billed it as an 'event' it would be two hours. I do think they are going to start losing people if they don't start giving a bit more information to hint at possible answers. Right now it seems difficut to even speculate.
That said, I'm in it for the long haul.

I think the biggest problem was building so much hype around the phrase "save the cheerleader, save the world." Had they not repeated it ad nauseum at every commercial break for two weeks and built up such expectation over the "event," it wouldn't have been such a let down. Ignoring that saving the cheerleader was relatively anticlimactic (only because of the hype) I believe last week's episode was pretty strong.

Oh, ditto! Don't get me wrong. I'm just responded to the fact, that the "lied" in their promos. I didn't expect the story to be solved/over last week.

Question. Did Peter "Lift" his brother up? Or did he first learn he could fly through some sort of "fight or flight" emotion? And that's why he feels guilty about what happened, 'cause whether he wanted to or not, he kinda cut-n-run.
Or if it was Peter, what power, and whose?

yup nathan flies as an instinct to avoid death/injury in the collision, hence the guilt... peter has the whole dream about it, and is a power mimic/adsorber, so it would be interesting who he was around at that time

I'm thinking it's going to be either the cop or Nikki/Jessica.
