Thanksgiving desserts
« on: November 12, 2007, 10:46:27 AM » |

The wife and I are talking about desserts for Thanksgiving and one of them made me think of this. We usually have pumpkin and apple pies, sometimes cherry. What about the rest of you?

I didn't watch the youtube, but I'm always willing to talk about dessert.
I don't like most fruit pies, unless they're homemade - and no one in my family makes pies any more. I made some pumpkin custard last year - yum. But, I think it'll be the old favorite Mrs. Smith's pecan pie this year.

Jani Lane talks about Cherry Pie. I always had a felling, but he sums it up pretty well. Too bad, I really liked that band. On Topic: Bakers' Square French Silk Pie.

I'm usually way too full from turkey, stuffing, etc. and pass on dessert. But sometimes I'll push it if there's pecan pie.
