Ricky Williams tonight?

.............It is not known whether he will be on the active roster for tonight's game against the Steelers (ESPN, 8:30 ET), but it is likely. Williams had a great week of practice and players on the team remarked how well he did and how much of an asset he could be for this game.

steelers will light that clown up if he plays.

I notice all these marijuana references.  Ricky smokes the weed?  I had no idea. 

You hang around two websites where Walfredo posts, you learn a couple things.

I'm just dreaming about equality and an end of demeaning potheads.  Maybe it is a pipe dream but it is my dream.  First the man keeps us down and then pop culture kicks us with constant jokes.  All potheads are not hippies and we don't all smell bad.  If we get cut do we not bleed?

You don't hear anyone say hey the packers with Vicodin popping Favre are playing the Cowboys Thurs.  I bet he doesn't feel any of the hits.  Or lets watch alcoholic Keifer kill terrorists tonight on 24 chug chug wink wink.

Potheads are just like everyone else needing a little something something to take the edge off a day.  Some prefer xanax while others indulge in spirits but it is all for the same goal. 

The next time you speak to your banker, ask a waiter about the wine specials, order fries with that or submit a business proposal to a venture capitalist; you may be dealing with a pothead and not know it.  So give us a chance everyone.  That is all we ask.  We are no different than you.

'Fredo, I consider reefer no more dangerous than alcohol.  Less insofar driving while impared and such.  Legalizing it makes sense to me.

However... 

On the question of Ricky Williams it's a bit different.  If you were to repeatedly break the laws of your workplace, get sent home for months at a time, beg forgiveness, come back and repeat eventually telling the world that smoking dope is your A#1 thing to do and you're going to quit your job and go play sitar while permanently stoned on a mountain top someplace I'd probably not think much of your actions.  We all have to grow up and Ricky's taken his sweet *fudge* all time doing so.

Normal people smoking a few buds and leading normal lives. 

Flagrantly bucking the system, letting down everyone around you and declaring you live for pot and nothing else.

Ricky was simply out of control with it.  Let's hope he's moderated his lifestyle somewhat.
