*this is not a legally binding post*,  but i'm  99.9% sure if your local market team is on a cable game (espn, nfl net)  you will get the game on one of your local ota channels

its all part of the whole nfl - local market no competing games on sunday, home games blacked out if not sold out,  yada yada  bs.

p.s.

nfl net is asking cable co's  approx  $.70/month-subscriber   for carriage.   approx the same as CNN,  MTV, etc.  and approx 25% of ESPN cost.

I was listening to sportstalk radio yesterday and they were discussing how this season all the raiders home games are being televised locally when they used to be blacked out.  I doubt they're selling out these days.  On the radio they were speculating that the home blackout rules had quietly changed because of the new commissioner. Don't Know

they arent sold out, but they aren't blacked out because they  tarped off a bunch of the stadium as 'under repair'  hence less tickets are sellable.

jax does this alot too, despite being a winning team year in, year out.
