Well, I'm sure that would be interesting... if I could understand it. 5 for 252 doesn't sound very good to me.

Yeah I guess it's one of those things that you need to be a part of growing up, and while wiki trys, I don't think it's possible to comprehensivley describe the game and all it's nuances textually....

I had an uncle of sorts (distant cousin, mum grew up with him from age 11) who loved cricket. Unfortunately, he went blind late in life from diabetes and he'd still sit in front of the tele for hours and "watch" matches.
Never did catch the cricket bug myself. Don't even remember ever playing as a boy.

Well, yeah, I'm sure that's part of it. I've also never seen even a bit of a match so all I have to go by would be pictures and there isn't an over abundance of that, either. Not to mention, I'm not familiar with most of the terminology, so that is making the article a little bit harder to understand, too.

And we bitch when we get a pitchers duel, or a home run derby. So, dude winds up and throws the ball at a stick right? Dude at home stick tries to whack it with a device like I got my ass tore up with in 4th grade Christian school, to a round field with no out of bounds? Any body run the bases? What part makes it sticky? 3 and 2?

What part makes it sticky?
Often that's the result of a batsmen relieving himself on the pitch, leaving a wet spot, hence "sticky".

Well I have said once before, since Imran Khan retired I have no interest in cricket. The only thing that makes cricket interesting, is that you never know when you will get a drunken streaker running across the field.
