Watched it last night. My jury is still out. (And no, that's not Bandon Code, either.) A decent number of tie-ins to the movies (or at least to the first two; I didn't see the third and wouldn't have gotten those tie-ins). A heavy dose of Terminator-chasing-them-shoot-em-up-run action, which I think is going to get tiresome rather quickly if seen week after week.
And I don't know, but maybe they tried to soften Sarah Connor's toughness with it, but she seemed to hug John and/or stand awfully close to him a lot. Just not the sort of relationship you expect from a mom and her 15-year-old son -- vaguely creepy. But it's hard to judge from one pilot (I HATED the West Wing pilot and watched that show until it went off the air), so I'll give it a couple episodes before putting a thumb up/down. |
