Thank you Minnesota Supreme Court!
« on: January 15, 2008, 06:09:19 PM »

Dear GolfHo friends,

I am hoping the fine judicial system of the great State of Minnesota comes to its collective senses pronto. Not only do I expect privacy, I demand it!

Thank you. I need to run now and remove my "truck nuts". I've heard tell of a movement to make them illegal and I need to watch my every step these days.

The ACLU wrote that a Minnesota Supreme Court ruling 38 years ago found that people who have **** in closed stalls in public restrooms "have a reasonable expectation of privacy."

"The government cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Senator Craig was inviting the undercover officer to engage in anything other than ****ual intimacy that would not have called attention to itself in a closed stall in the public restroom," the ACLU wrote in its brief.

The ACLU also pointed out that Craig was originally charged with interference with privacy. The ACLU said that was an admission by the state that people in the bathroom stall expect privacy.

If the Panthers cheerleaders had no reasonable expectation of privacy, then neither does the extinguished Senator from Idaho.

I'll moderate a Senator. Don't think I won't.
