Tried a dozen of them.  Too little feel, they actually felt mushy to me.  Perhaps I'm one of those who like more feel than they provided.

Thanks.  Too bad.  The name as I knew it was a perfect fit, and descriptor for my chances when stepping up to hit one.  Oh, well.

Stroh........the 50/50 name is owned by Aldila shaft company - If you remember the 50/50 LD shaft that went down the tubes!  Therefore I don't think Wilson would step on those toes!  And 50 compression...........Woah...I thought those low compression balls were history..I can't stand them...they drop from the sky with long iron shots IMO!

I haven't tried it, but I've studied the Golf Magazine "What is the Best Ball is for You" article, and based on my calculations, confidence is not very high that this is going to be the ball for you, unless you're a post menopausal woman suffering from osteoporosis, an lcl tear of the left knee, and have below average strength.  Sorry Doctor, but I didn't want you to get your hopes up.

From what I read in another post, for the above condition, the best ball is the ProV1X.Smiley

Thanks for paying attention, BFB.  It's gratifying that you not only read and understood my highly technical synopsis, you actually internalized it.  Bravo.  If I had the ability, I'd be firing a +1 your way.

I played one round with the ball.

I like the way it putts.  Tee to green it didn't really stand out from the other balls I usually put into play, such as Titleist NXT Tours or the Bridgestone e6.

I tried some this winter, I thought they might make a good cold weather ball due to the low compression.  They were okay, but I liked the DT So/Lo better.
