Now that it looks like the Dem will probably have to face Grumps McJowls in the general, rather than that pitbull of a campaigner and partially lethal marksman, Testy Tom Tancredo, I'm going for the not actually a real Negro guy.

But if I was Hussein, I wouldn't turn my back on Rep. Tom.

I'm tired of politics as usual.  While I can't guarantee Obama will be any better, I'm sure Hillary will be divisive, just because of who she is.  The right still can't get over Bill.

In no way impugning her ability to adequately occupy the role, the last thing the U.S. needs is another president 50%* of the country already hates.

Not sure if Billary is even a lib so I'm for Obama.  But I also like Edwards if he had a chance.

Billary is leading in Oklahoma with Edwards second and Obama third.  Problem is I know many young voters either Repub or Indies that will vote Obama if he gets the party's nod.  However, they can't vote in the Democrat primary.  With that said, I'm not voting for a reshrublican no matter what so Billary will undoubtedly be the lesser of two evils if she wins.

Uh, then yes - vote for Hillary.  Both her and Bill's economic 'plans' are more right than left.  And much of Bill's term was dominated by a republican congress.

But if you think the election of a particular president will 'return us to those times' - I suggest you keep drinking on a regular basis  Wink

I'm sure THAT was the reason for the prosperous times.

I think most people understand that Hillary is not really electable - too devisive, perhaps unfairly so - but thats life.

So that leaves you with Obama - who is inexperienced and lacking any detail in his policies.  He really needs to get on the stick if he wants the corporate money for his run.  I've heard his economic plans are not good but am unable to verify this, as when I read what he has on his site its laughably lacking in reality and is simply an attempt to buy votes (mixed in with some good sound bites - and I mean that, no sarcasm intended).  He has a few supposedly respectable people on his economic policy front, so you better hope they provide more punch than what he has now.

I just feel that Obama is too much enigma right now - he'll need to show some reality if he wants to win the big one.

No, not really.  But the supposition that Bill was responsible for the economy is equally silly.
