Mail-in rebates

Do you guys take the time to complete and send in? I know the big companies bank on consumers not taking the time to do it. After this past BF haul, I'm mailing in a lot of rebates.

My wife does. Unless it's a huge rebate, I'd almost rather pay a little more than have to fill out all that paper work.

I hate the concept. Always have but it's worse now. I just farked up $250 in rebates over two items because I didn't submit them in time.

unless we forget...
we're pretty good about it. i mean, yes, instant rebates are better, but as long as you get the mail=in, why not

I'll send them in if it's a significant dollar amount (~$50+). When we bought our new fridge we were offered a $300 rebate on it, but one of the people at the Sears rebate center keyed it in wrong. Due to their processing error it took us almost 8 months to get our check.
