Rain, snow, freezing temps. Dallas closes.
« on: March 06, 2008, 02:17:53 PM »

So the weather down here is getting ugly for Texas. Nothing special for northerners. People down here are not prepared for snow or ice. We have something like 5 or 10 sand trucks. The first sign of snow and ice the city shuts it's doors and closes for the day.

I may be stuck at home with family tomorrow. Probably be doing some house work. Jules.celebrates.

I've not read anything about your having done a testicular self-examination.  Weather-related serendipity?

I don't think "Probably" is the correct word. More like will be doing house work.  Smiley

Spanky, it snowed here in the Twin Cities yesterday.  The drive in to work took an extra 20 minutes.  I swear that when I moved into this state, the iq doubled.  Sad thing is I'm smart, but not that smart.  Must have had a bunch of southerners move up here since the last snowstorm, as no one seemed to know how to drive in it.  2" of snow and the Minnesotans have to be retrained for winter driving.
