Man, I can't believe STTNG started back in the 80s (albeit the late 80s).

Out of curiosity, I checked IMDb to see if this show ended up ruining this girl's career as an actress. It turns out that she beat out Candace Cameron and that little blonde girl from Poltergeist (Heather O'Rourke). Wondering whatever happened to her, I checked her entry, and it turns out that she passed away at 12.  Shocked I had no idea.

Sad thing is, she was probably one of the best actors on the show.

I knew about the Dominique Dunne murder case, but I didn't know about the others. I guess I was too self-absorbed during HS to give crap.

One scene was filmed in the parking lot of the EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. And has an effect on the Utah Jazz which plays there. As a result the Jazz has not been able to win championships, especially the NBA Finals in 1997 and 1998. However, that arena opened in 1991, and was not under construction when the scenes were filmed.[citation needed] The actual truth is that a long series of coaching, recruiting, and management failures have prevented this from happening.
