I've survived the two weeks orientation for the new job.....
« on: March 07, 2008, 04:15:13 PM »

and I've got to say, I'm impressed with the way this company is taking care of me.  First class accomidations whilst out of town and $28 a day for breakfast and supper, they supplied lunch on site.
Benefits look very good as well.

Supervision and management have already suggested the direction my career with this company should take.  Mapping and routing.  Seems with the experience I have, I know more about the local towns/cities and roads than anybody else in the building.

I still have to survive a year in the job I currently have before I can move to another, company policy.

So far so good.  Much better than the last one with the trucking company.

I don't play golf anymore.   Well, maybe I do sort of.  I quit keeping score, started drinkning beer and I started playing better.

Can those bin picker upper things flip over a car?

Not likely that.  Damage one considerably though.  Locally, we don't use them, they're bloody tempremental.
