I've done so much genetic manipulation in my lifetime, I can't see how redemption is a serious possibility anymore.

I've just got back from a crucial meeting with the secretarial pool, who are demanding certain workplace environment concessions on my part, to read these more carefully.
I'm alarmed to see I've also done a lot of morally debatable experiments, too.
Far, far too many.
I'm deeply concerned here.
This is a serious crisis, and I'd hope at least just this one time those of you who patronize this here 'GolfHos' intertube will take it seriously. Perhaps the way you take it seriously when a colleague experiences a workforce displacement issue, which I might just invoke on the secretarial pool if they don't stop this little uppity thing they've got going lately.
Afterall, the fate of my Eternal Soul is at stake here.
Some --most-- of my morally debatable experiments involved genetic manipulation. For example, one time--just for giggles mostly-- I attempted to create a mouse that glows in the dark, and hoped to see how well it survived, relative to control mice that don't glow in the dark, in a small forest preserve frequented by nocturnal predators.
Another time, I did some morally debatable experiments involving genetic manipulation to make grass and azaleas glow in the dark, to sort of offer a way for golf courses to boost their revenues by offering night time play without the expense and carbon footprint associated with illuminating the courses with flood lights. But we had to put the kibutz on the project when a rhododendron 'Cagle Nocturne Glowing' we'd created attacked our head gardener Herve from behind as he was dressing its bed one day. Herve survived, but spent 7 months in a partially vegetative comatose state, during which time the INS discovered his large extended family holed up in a 2 bedroom apartment, and deported all of them back to Guatemala except for his 17 month old son, who became the foster child to a Republican congressman who we only later discovered operated an illegal child prostitution ring out of an abandoned freight car on the C&S spur leading out of town.
But I've digressed.
I'm going to have my attorney write the pope and ask if I've got any double jeopardy protections for any of this. For that matter, I'm going to ask my attorney to look into the question of when, precisely, these actions first became mortal sins. If they didn't become mortal sins until yesterday, am I only subject to any morally debatable genetic manipulations I conduct henceforth?
Kinda like, is it a mortal sin to eat meat on a Friday during Lent if you forgot it was a Friday. Or Lent. But not exactly.
