can i join the pool with a new s/n / account (the one i won nfl pickem with)?
I think in your profile you can change your s/n to be whatever you want it to be. IIRC, I changed mine 2 or 3 times through the course of the tournament. no, i mean i have a NEW sportsline account . i want to register it to the pool. (can't remember the password for the old account from last year) Oh. In that case I'll shut up and go away as I'm serving no purpose here.

I think you should be able to join with a new account. I assume the group password is the same as last year since I haven't changed anything. ("golfhos" - you might want to write it down) Let me know if it doesn't work out. Hopefully the old instructions work for any other golfhos members that want to participate this year but didn't last time.

What's the deadline? Well, being that brackets aren't available until March 16, and the first game is roughly around the 20th every year, I'd say around then.

Here's the deadline: Deadline for submitting your brackets is 11 AM EST on Thursday prior to the start of Round 1 games.
Tiebreaker is the total score of the final game.
Here's how we did the scoring last year: Scoring Round Weight Bonus Round 1 1 Add Seed Round 2 2 Add Seed Round 3 3 Add Seed Round 4 5 Add Seed Round 5 10 Add Seed Round 6 20 Add Seed Add Seed - Points equal the seed number of the winning team added to the weight for the given round. We could try "Multiply Seed" this year to shake things up.

We could try "Multiply Seed"
eew. I think we should give it a try this year. It might keep more people in contention up until the end. Let's try a new scoring system this time: Scoring Round Weight Bonus Round 1 1 Multiply Seed Round 2 2 Multiply Seed Round 3 4 Multiply Seed Round 4 7 Multiply Seed Round 5 10 Multiply Seed Round 6 15 Multiply Seed Multiply Seed - Points equal the seed number of the winning team multiplied by the weight for the given round. Multiply Seed - The seed of the winning team is multiplied by the correct pick total. Ex. If the 12th Seed Wins and your weight is 2 then 24 points would be credited for the Win. That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

I haven't seen any objections, so I'll make the call and say yes.
I've never been in a pool with scoring like this, and I'm curious to see how it turns out.
