Well, that's Minnesnowta weather for you...
« on: March 17, 2008, 10:55:30 AM »

Just yesterday I was beginning to think that I might actually make it out to the course as early as Kev and I did last year.  With all the snow in January and February, I hadn't been thinking that, but the snow has been melting.  In fact, most of our yard was free of its snow-cover, and our snowman has been long gone.  After those few days in the upper 40s to lower 50s last week, the temps had dropped again, but it has still been pretty nice out.  Then what do I wake up to this morning?  I thin layer of snow on the ground.  And as I sit here looking out the window, I see that it's snowing again.  It's really pretty actually.  The snowflakes are the big, fluffy kind that gently float to the ground.

Oh, well.  Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!  And maybe there will still be a chance to get out golfing semi-early this year.

No, actually, I'm not.  The little sibs like snow.  I like snow for that matter, too.  It's pretty "irregardless" of the time of year.  I too am ready for spring, but I also enjoy the weather we have right now.

It felt so good to go outside without a jacket on for a few days.  And I'll most likely have my 8i out this week to practice in the back yard, whether we have snow on the ground or not.
