how dixon can't get blair to take offensive boards up strong amazes me. softest big-game 6-7 270 player in the post i've ever seen
if i ever see him shoot another fade away from 2 feet after grabbing the board i will never watch pitt play again

In hindsight, it looks like MSU was pretty damn under-rated at the end of the regular season. This was a team that got as high as #6 in the polls and had a big OOC win over Texas.

they did look damn good today. i hate to take anything away form them-- they deserved to win, but* this looked like the idiotically coached dixon pitt teams of the last 2-3 years not the team that he actually had playing smart passionate ball the last 2-3 weeks- a team that would have at least been competitive tonight. neitzel was absolutely amazing. |
