LOL still haven't seen it.  Daughter saw it this weekend, and liked it.

If you haven't read the book I'm sure its still a good movie - but to completely change the ending like they did was crap.  Then ending is what made the book so good and to ditch it was hollywood at its worst.

For instance - the Bourne series was vastly different than the books, but they were still true to the story (updated for the times) and character.  Therefore I could still enjoy them (not great movies, but good) - this was different.  I felt cheated.

Most 1.5 to 2 hour movies can't do justice a book.

LOL - I was disappointed at first with the Bourne Identity.  They could have made the movie for the time period the books were intended, but chose to make it for modern times.  But as far as feeling 'cheated' when I saw the movie... not nearly as much as Legend.
