Cue Deliverance soundtrack.....

Blader Jr and I are 'bout to head into the Cohutta Wilderness Area in Northern Georgia.  We'll hike up into Tennessee and back over a 4 night 5 day journey into the mind and soul.

I used to do this 'outdoors' stuff all the time until I got married, started a vertical and horizontally integrated international conglomerate, sired progeny, coached little league and began to play golf.

This sort of adventure spices life, I must say.

When we return to civilization, we'll shower up, don our country club finest, and then head over to Augusta for Sunday's final round.  I'll be wearing the rainbow wig and carrying a neon placard announcing, "Spiff 4:24"

It don't get much better than this.

LOL

Have a wonderful time.  That time spent will pay dividends for you and your son for life.

Are you on your own, or with some type of guided group tour?

Sounds like a nice little trip. I remember doing similar things with my Dad.

Have fun!

Oh, we're "on our own".

Just the two of us.

Blader Jr is really into it...no fear.  He's a big fan of Bear Grylls and Survivorman and all that stuff.

It's a great wilderness area for this part of the world....doesn't get much traffic this time of year.  Last year we did this and didn't see but 5 people the whole time.

women are like tornados. In the beginning there's a lot of sucking and blowing. In the end, the car's gone, the house is gone..

Blader make sure you are not waylaid by a wilderness maiden with a particularly lovely overbite, as I will be hanging out to see you with your rainbow wig on the masters tv coverage. Grin
