Dr Pepper was released here about 15 years ago. It didn't do so well. I think you can still get it in some places. I'd liken it to convincing you guys to eat Vegemite..  |

pepsi, coke, either, or neither - any option will do. Coke does have a slight leading edge, I guess. But I hardly ever drink soda, and when I do Dr. Pepper is my preferred choice.

Coke without a doubt. Haven't had a Pepsi in the house in a decade.
Ice tea, beer or wine at restaurants.
Throw "Diet" in front of the Coke and same here. |

Coke, for an odd reason (as if you expected otherwise): I worked for Domino's Pizza. We carried Coca-Cola products because PepsiCo owns Pizza Hut and they wouldn't sell to us. Loyal employee that I was, I said screw that, and I've boycotted Pepsi ever since.
These days, Diet Coke if there's a soda had at all. More usually iced tea of some sort.

I own KO stock, live in their home town, etc..so diet coke for me as a matter of religion, or at least loyal homieness.
I always find it odd to be places--typically out of town-- where coke is not served
I tend not to return to those places.
As a matter of principle.
