maybe so.  won't help when you can't pass the ball and the other teams stuff the box to limit you to 17-20 points a game running it 1 dimensionally

17-20 points a game is well more than enough to win with our defense. Cool

With Henne and Brohm sitting there this pick is a shock. Really Bears? Grossman and Orton??

the only way it makes any sense is if they know they'll be there in 4-10 more picks and plan to trade up to get one then

And this is exactly why drafting a safety in the 2nd round is a head scratcher.

From ESPN on our 2nd round pick:

Quote
Johnson doesn't have great man-to-man cover skills and is going to have trouble matching up with slot receivers. Additionally, you would have liked to see him make more big plays against inferior competition.

erm.......

I would've taken Henne or Brohm or OL. We have defense.

lmao. ok.  while  allen and boulware are good and average players, respectively,   madieu williams is a perennial chump.    had you ever seen a steelers-bungles game, you would know this.  the only reason he remotely is still in the league is because kaesviharn was even worse and made him look good in comparison.   hines ward routinely burns this chump with simple slant routes, etc.

HAHAHA, between him and madip*feces* williams you still can't cover a slot receiver.

i agree on QB.  if nothing else, you could have kept them out of your division-- and at least nobody in the division would have a really threatening QB.--- thus minimizing  tlames downside

And the Steelers showed they have no confidence in "Mr. double the fumbles than TD's" by getting Mendenhall. Wink
