Question for "Lost" fans

I've never watched the show, but I know there's a very overweight character. Why, after four years of what would likely be a subsistence diet, is he not slimmer?
Perhaps he stashed the plane's galley somewhere.

There is an unlimited supply of food in the bunker. That and it's TV. You for one should know better.

LOL!! I guess I should know better. Actually I was wondering if that plot flaw was ever addressed in any episode.

I haven't watched in a couple years but I think I remember the time frame of the show has only been a couple months. So it's easy to say there hasn't been time.

. . . I remember the time frame of the show has only been a couple months. So it's easy to say there hasn't been time.
Of course. That makes sense.

in the series finale they'll kill him and live as cannibals off his remains for their last 6 days of meals. the whole show is a plotless joke on the viewer. then the cloverfield monster will destroy the island. the end.

Of course. That makes sense. Yep. I've actually seen every episode. That and they have found food.

I'm more concerned with why none of the facial hair on any of them has progressed beyond the 2-day growth stage.
