Were you driving along Skyline Blvd? We were driving north on Hwy 1 into San Francisco. I see. When Highway 1 crosses Skyline, it turns inland a little bit while Skyline goes out toward the water. Skyline would have taken you by the Olympic Club, Fort Funston, and out to Great Highway along Ocean Beach. It's a nice little drive.

Spent a day in Monterrey and drove up to Sonoma before we flew home. Good food, good wine, Anchor Steam available on tap almost everywhere... good times.
