The devolution of Uisce's career
« on: May 12, 2008, 06:34:19 PM »

A year ago I owned my own business.

Today I work from my home office.

Starting next week I work under Air quotes the man's Air quotes thumb full time.  Through the summer anyway as I train up a bunch of guys and try to minimize my "hit by a bus" situation.  In the fall and moving forward from there I'll hopefully do three in the office + two home.

A year from now I'll probably be punching a time card.   Grin

Scratches Head  I remember what you were going through, and vaguely remember that you were happy and it fell the way you wanted.

But why are "devoluting" further?

Is it money?  Or are you just doing what you have to for a job?

All is well stroh.

It's just, from the outside looking in, I appear to be going in reverse of The American DreamTM.

I'm happy with it.  After a dozen years of running the show I'm more than content to just do my job and draw a salary.  I might get the bug again down the road but I'm thinking I'm good for at least five years.  The grass is greener and all that....

Cool
