lol, well i just thought youd get a buckle a lot faster with the load applied across the thin and weak grain direction rather than if you oriented the support arms along the thick/strong grain axis . maybe gleek will chime in on whether you have a zero force member in that layout

The hypotenuse members in the upper set of trusses are probably zero force members, but they still serve a purpose in Fuzzy's design. They can serve as "walls" if he wants to stack *feces* up inside the compartments.

Nothing buckled. I feel pretty good about the design, especially considering it's just shelf/coat rack. And I think it looks good.

Just for *feces*s, I just put 100# on the top shelf between the second and third zfm's. I'm not the least bit surprised that your tight little ass fit in that space.
