The funny thing about knowing Clive is that you don't even notice when he says things like that.  It's as surprising as "pass the butter" at the dinner table or "why only twelve?" at stroh's house.

Five bucks says it was printed instead of hand-written and he tried at least a dozen font styles/sizes/weights before he settled.

Well, more than anything the word "actually" caught my attention.  I've read enough "please use a spoiler warning" posts that it's just a simple, logical deduction.  Guess I could have made it into a statement instead of a question.

I don't bet, but it wouldn't surprise me because I do enough of that myself (and Kev's just as bad as I am).  Speaking of type styles (or font styles, as the computer age now calls them)... Thanks for the reminder to kick Kev off I mean, politely ask Kev to let me back on the desktop.

The sign was printed on white paper.  Only one font was selected and subsequently used.

I just finished watching what coverage I had (a topic for a different rant).  The fact that it was so close, with the lead changing so many times, jsut made me keep thinking how annoying it was that I knew the outcome.

I was lucky in a couple of regards, I don't have internet access in the vacuum of the warehouse, but I did tell everyone that came in "please if you know, don't tell me..."

I think I would feel the same way if I knew the results, but I still love the 18 hole Monday finishers in the Open.

Over all best Open evar in my book.

And of course that email begs the question, how much off would they have had if Mediate had won?

Oh, but I had made it.  I saw the email at about 6:20, as I was shutting down my computer before jumping in the car to go home and flop down in front of the TV/DVR.
