It is the Far North Queensland golf championships this weekend, and it is going to be held at our club. It is a very social weekend, I'm really looking forward to it, and I really hope I play well.   |

Just out of curiosity, is there a difference between Far North Queensland and just the North part of Queensland?
Seems to me it's like calling Minnesota far north Minnesota.
