Edge Destroys some "It's still real to me" type guy on TV The Evolution of the Edge Character Edge and Foley in the best WWE match in the last 10 years-- not surprising since they're the 2 of the 4 best workers in that era.

Those guys could WORK, and the Chief was bleedin' up a storm as always! hey now, i think i've said hennig is one of my top 5 ever! he ruled, probably the 1st guy that really got me interested in wrasslin well, it certainly isnt underfaker, the big slow, cripple h, botchtista, or john seenya seriously, over the last 10 years ... the best 4 workers (of wcw/wwe) (and that they still acknowledge as ever existing... see benoit! lol) ... edge jericho foley angle honorable mentions to eddie guerrero- died just when he had the whole package developing hbk - if he hadn't had that back injury he'd still be up there today flair - (in the 10 and 20 years before that, sure) he just lost too much physical ability particularly the last 3 or 4 years, despite his awesomeness in all other 'aspects' christian - never developed all the physical tools that he should have to match his mic/character skills.

this guy is insane-- theres a reason wwe doesn't let anyone do moves like this-- 90% of the roster is too highly botch-prone. still shocked that TNA lets this go

I never really appreciated Hennig until I saw some of his AWA work, and your absolutley correct: A great 'Wrassler' of the old school, and one suspects he could shoot when push came to shove.
Richard Flehr is simply the greatest wrestler of all time, and I'm glad to say I saw him wrestle during his glory years with Jim Crockett and elsewhere in the southeast. It's a testament to the man that 30 years after his first championship, he was still showing the 'roided up robots in McMahon's circus how it SHOULD be done.
I thought Guerrero was gone way, way too soon, and just at a time when it had started to become interesting again. He could have hung with the old guys and looked great doing it. A real loss.

you wont get a dispute from me as to flair being the greatest ever (at least on tv in the usa!) ..just that he wasnt an elite worker the last few years of his career. remember back in the day, in every match he'd take 3 or 4 whips into the turnbuckle with such 'force' that he would flip out of the ring ? that was the best. nobody today can (or does) do that. did you watch that 'el generico' clip ? that top rope brainbuster is sick. you either really trust your partner to take that bump, or you're way hard up for $. why do all the greats come out of canada? (el generico is a canadian pretending to be a lucha libre character)
