I know I wouldn't have a problem with a female caddy. In fact I would probably be more comfortable. I had a caddy once and while I still sucked he did help out a lot and I did play better then I would have without him. I may have to save up a little more and request one while up there this year.

Last time I was there we did 36 back to back days. I had a caddy (male) for the afternoon rounds. IMO, it was worth it. From lugging the bag to telling me to put my 8 iron away and use 6 and me knocking it on the green. |

It's not that they're hot, it's that they're cool.
I've hired a Bandon caddie once and had another player in the group hire one three times. Got myself a great caddie; the others were personable enough and seemed to do their jobs OK, I guess. Luck of the draw, I'd say. But it seems the female caddies are, generally speaking, likelier to be a bit nicer to spend four hours with than their male counterparts.
Personally, I'm sure as hell not expecting to chat up a storm with a caddie. I don't even pay attention to the other members of my group.
