Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century.

Other golfers say they aren't surprised, especially because it appears alcohol was a factor on both sides.

"There's a lot of beer and stuff involved. A lot of times people drink and come out to have a good time, but sometimes testosterone flies," said golfer Nik Williams.

Knowing twoiron, I'm pretty sure he was going in a different direction than that.

We just had someone tossed from our club for his reaction to a slow play discussion two weeks ago.  He's a notoriously slow player, that was at it again, and when approached by the starter he treated him poorly.  Upon hearing this our assistant pro drove out to talk to him, and this time the guy went absolutely bonkers.  A few people from other groups drove up becuase they thought the guy was going to start swinging - all while the asistant pro just stood there calmly.

Thankfully he didn't start swinging clubs - but he's gone nonetheless.  Don't need people like that around.

And yes... it happened on the back nine  Shocked  Wink
