Tomorrow night I'll be heading "home" for my High School reunion. 25 years.  Good thing I'm still as adorable as I was when I was 18.  |

Nice. Did you go to any of the previous ones?
I've never been to a high school reunion, so I'm imagining what I've seen in cheesy sitcoms and movies.
There is some truth to the cliches. I went to my 10 year and the only reason I'm going to this one is the fact I had nothing else planned this weekend and I heard that a couple of friends from back in the day are going to make it back. |

Last year was mine. I wasn't invited. I chit you not. My parents have lived in their current house since I was 2. Their phone number has remained unchanged -- and listed -- since I was maybe 12. I have never received a notice or invitation to my high school reunions (graduated 1981). If I went to one, I fear it'd turn into a Carrie kinda thing. Related note: this thread got me curious, so I googled my two high-school girlfriends. I already knew one had gone to med school and the other to law school. Let's just say that the years have not been kind to the lawyer.   |

FWIW, I never received an "official" invite. They use www.classmates.com to set it up. Which is nice but if you haven't gotten word to sign up on this site you are out of luck. |

I skipped my 20-year a couple of years back, though got a couple of calls at 3:30 in the morning from people who had drunk too much just the right amount, beating me up for not being there.

No. Um, well, ordinarily when you make glue first you need to thermoset your resin and then after it cools you have to mix in an epoxide, which is really just a fancy-schmancy name for any simple oxygenated adhesive, right? And then I thought maybe, just maybe, you could raise the viscosity by adding a complex glucose derivative during the emulsification process and it turns out I was right.
