I'm back at my cousin's again... I've got my own dog, house, and career for the weekend.   Seriously, between house sitting, dog sitting, and care giving, I probably won't have all that much time, but I'll *try* to find a few minutes to check in.

I'm having a fabulous time.  My grandma is resting a lot during the day, but when she's up we're covering a lot of topics, and I'm hearing stories I hadn't heard before about my grandfather, great-grandparents, and even a few about my great-great grandparents. 

I don't have a dog, like I did last weekend and thought I would this weekend.  That's neither disappointing or thrilling; yorkies are fun, but I prefer labs.

Did I mention that, even though I'm still pretty busy, it's a whole lot quieter here? 

Nope, he's not.   That means I don't have to share the computer, nor am I totally without reason to IM him.  lol



I haven't had this much time alone with my grandma in 8(+) years, and I've really been missing it.  She has a few stories written down that I'm hoping to read tomorrow, and hopefully there will be a few more trips down memory, too.  I don't really have this on my dad's side, so that makes now all the sweeter.  And I'd love for her to make it downstairs tomorrow so she can play the piano, especially those she has written over the years.
