For those of you on the other side of the pond, what is the predominant event that is being telecast??

We have two station providing coverage with the main station providing coverage from around 9am to midnight.

For the most part prime time coverage by the main broadcaster consists of swimming and gymnastics with ad nauseum replays of Aussies winning Gold.

I'm so over the *fudge*in' swimming, which is broken up by snippets of equestrian, womens hockey and basketball

Swimming, beach volleyball and gymnastics for the past week.  Phelps, MM & KW and oddly misshapen little girls.   Thumbs Up Thunbs Down Thunbs Down

They just gave us the first taste of track and field.  Then my son flipped to Family Matters.   Shoot Head

I'm amazed at the status Walsh and May are given by NBC. Look, I like chicks in bikinis but every match looks like every other one I've seen. hate!

I'm enjoying the partner NBC channels in the morning and late at night. At least they are showing other sports.

Saw a woman's badminton match last night. 

A Chinese woman from China faced off against a Chinese woman from Germany. 

Don't know who won, but my understanding is the winner will play for the gold against whomever won the match between a Chinese woman from USA against a Chinese woman from Britain.
