Watching this movie right now. I remember watching this the first time and thinking it was a great movie. Still is IMO.

i saw the twist coming, live, in theater, the 1st time. needless to say, the crowd was shocked and i wasn't

Question:  Did you know there *was* a twist?  Had anyone said, "wow, great ending" or some such?

The first time I saw it I just kinda kicked back and watched.  I didn't get in the Memento vibe where I was searching for things.  The ending surprised me mainly (I think) because I wasn't trying to avoid being surprised.

Or I'm thick.

nope , i saw it opening day in theaters because the trailer looked cool.  there's a lot of foreshadowing and symbolism that led me into the conclusion.    too drunk to discuss it in depth right now
