IMO this selection of Palin could backfire. Selection of a relatively unknown and inexperienced woman known more for her looks than really anything else just killed the McCain camp's ability to continue using the "he's not ready" angle against Obama unless they want downplay the importance of the VP position which then makes this appear to be token pick.

This is a huge tactical error by McFart.

I agree.  Surprising pick IMO(which means little).

I figured T Paw was the guy, if not, Romney was a lock to shore up The Right.  Seems McSame has a lot of The Middle and all of The Old.

In my estimation aside from courting perhaps some of the disenfranchised pantsuit vote, this pick does little more than allow the McCain camp to say "hey, my ticket can be history making too!"

Of course, you are spot on.  This is so true.

But the question is, will (male) voters overlook mcGrommits lack of judgment and give him props for his taste in women.

It seems to me the Republicans have decided that if they are going down in a flaming heap, they are going to carry this whole 'governance by superficiality' thing (aka 'smoke and mirrors') to its natural end.

Maybe he's so senile he thought he was picking wife #3, not a VP.
