WELLINGTON (Reuters) – New Zealand's national airline is planning to give the bald facts on plans to speed up check-in queues for passengers -- literally.
Air New Zealand said on Tuesday it is looking for 50 people willing to be a "cranial billboard" with a message temporarily tattooed on their shaved heads for two weeks advertising new speedy check-in services.
The airline said it will pay NZ$1000 ($666) per head, making it easy money for bald-headed frequent fliers.
"How better to tell our customers that Air New Zealand is going to do something about (long check-in queues) ... than through messaging they can read while they're standing in a queue themselves?" the airline's marketing manager Steve Bayliss said in a statement. |

We have the same problem with breast billboards today that we had in the 18th century....the #1 response in focus group testing is, "What message?"

I second the boobie thing. It would give me an excuse to look then. While I don't really need one to look at least if they had a message I might not get hit by Darla for doing it.
Then again she doesn't need a reason to hit me either.

I got busted at the lake one year. Was looking, and Karen said "Those are nice aren't they?" Without thinking or looking away I said "yeah." Then I realized what just happened. Since you need the hand-holding: Then you look down at the pup tent you're pitching, then you look at Karen. Then you say, "So, you doin' anything right now?" |
