Why do you hate Palin more than illicit gay **** solicitations in Metro airport bathrooms?

It has gone beyond fun and games and "look how clueless she is." I'm starting to feel sick. Where will that party go next? I mean, Reagan was clueless at times, but these guys just seem to find bigger and bigger morons each cycle.

I can't either. Would you vote for me for VP?
Please don't answer that, my ego can't handle another setback.

The GOP absolutely needs to dump the religious right from its base. It's obvious that social conservatism as no room for ideological flexibility, so it needs to be represented by its own party. Until that happens, the GOP is stuck trying to attract the Bubba vote.

well, i don't care if she knows the specific names of the petitioners, but she could at least name 3-4 cases as to how they shaped national 'policy' if you will... but yeh, I figured she would know Bush vs. Gore or Exxon vs. Baker

I would expect someone with the eventual power of picking SC justices to know a few cases and explain why they find the rulings important.

The bigger problem with Palin is that even if she knew the details of every significant SC case, her decision-making in SC justice appointments would likely be skewed by religious dogma. There is no way in *goshdarn* hell that a person who can justify any action as "God's Plan" should even have powers to appoint a municipal court judge let alone a SC justice.

I've got to go find this film, IdiocracyPremise:A narrator explains that natural selection is indifferent to intelligence, so that in a society in which intelligence is systematically debased, stupid people easily out-breed the intelligent, creating, over the course of five centuries, an irremediably dysfunctional society. It would seem we've arrived at the precipice of this dystopian vision within a single generation, much quicker than even Hollywood could imagine.

As a few have posted, in hindsight it looks like it should be called a 'documentary' instead of a 'film'. Why come you haven't seen it yet?

It would seem that this film should have been shaping the r+d division policies at Blader Industries since it came out. As a long-term shareholder, I am saddened to read that CEO Blader has been too busy at chatauquas and little league to have seen this film and acted to dominate the market as appropriate.
